Loren and Joseph Inman to Robert Atkinson

This indenture made this tenth day of January in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and fifty six Between Loren Inman and Joseph Inman of Kane county and State of Illinois of the first part Loren Inman as administrator and said Loren Inman and Joseph Inman as heirs of the Estate of Daniel Inman Robert Atkinson of Stephenson County and State of Illinois of the second party Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration for One hundred Dollars in hand paid by the said party of the second part (the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged) have remised released sold conveyed and quit claimed and by these presents do remise release sell convey and quit claim unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever all the following described lot on parcel of Land situate Lying and being in Township thirty eight (38) North of Range seven (7) Section Eleven (11) Kane County Illinois and known and described as follows to wit; Commencing twenty chains and fifty two links (20, 52) East from the North West corner of the South East quarter of Section Eleven (11) Township aforesaid thence South six (6) degrees East seventeen chains and fifteen links (17, 15) thence South Eighty six degrees & thirty minutes (86°30') East nine chains (9) thence Northerly seventeen chains and fifty one links (17, 51) to the North line of the said quarter Section thence West on said North line ten chains and eighteen links (10, 18) to the place of beginning containing sixteen acres and fifty hundredths of an acre (16 50/100) To have and to hold the same together with all and singular the appurtenances and privileges thereunto belonging or in any wise thereunto appertaining and all the Estate right title interest and claim whatsoever of the said party of the first part either in Law or Equity to the only propeture benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part and his heirs and assigns forever. And the said party of the first part for themselves their heirs executors and administrators do covenant and agree to and with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns that he will warrant and forever defend the aforesaid premises to be free and cear of all claim or claims of all and every person or persons claiming or to claim by through or under the parties of the first part and none other. In Witness Whereof the said party of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written.

I Jesse McDolo Justice of the Peace in and for the said County and State aforesaid Do hereby certify that Loren Inman and Joseph Inman who are personally known to me as the real persons whose names are enscribed to the annexed deed appeared before me this day in person and acknowledged that they executed and delivered the said deed as their free and voluntary act for the uses and purposes therein set forth. Given under my hand this tenth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand and Eight hundred and fifty six.
