I was told my line went back to William Inman around 1614 but I seem to have trouble linking the family line poss. due to my own mistakes on not knowing how to trace the family tree well. I keep missing a generation somewhere between a William Henderson Inman and Sarah A. Lea and either a Shadrach or John E. Inman. I hope I can get on the right track or someone can put me on the right track. I put what I know of my lineage just in case it came to a dead end there. Theresa Inman married Alfred Raynor and lived in Bangor, ME where he fought in a ME regiment in the civil war. After the war, they relocated to Oshgosh, WI, where they are in the census, then to Sawyer Co., WI where they helped settle the area, building the first schools and active in the community. I think its great what you've done, excepting that when people post they don't think to use the Area (states) in which they title there post so that you can quickly read through them , well some do...but some don't...it would save time. And using capitals helps to point out parts quicker. I think it would be handy also to have a area that would list all free links free anything dealing with genealogy searches on these sites somewhere. As I can give you a suggestion right now...Bureau of land management...has a free land deed search document...you can type in your ancestors name and whaalaaa....you get there deeds from long ago, and you can print it out all free. Its wonderful. I want to warn you all I am slow to respond to emails so just give me time. Thanks you all.
